Chris "CJ" Jacobsen....snarky, intelligent and absolutely adorable. CJ, is 31 years old and lives in Venice Beach, California. He has been one of the cheftestants on the Season 3, Top Chef show on Bravo. I have completely fallen in love with his personality and his goofy laugh and I can officially say I have found my summer eye candy. As I read more and more about him I see that I am not alone in crunching on this TV cutie.............
I never thought in a million years that I would become one of those women who swooned when watching some actor on TV or in a movie. I have never been the type to ever get too excited watching some guy on television. I mean really, what is the point?? To begin with, they are completely unattainable and are usually really big asses in real life. I will admit that when I was a kid I had a huge thing for Paul McCartney but what girl didnt. I guess the shocking thing about it is that the Beatles had been disbanded for over 10 years or so. What can I say...My parents were hippies!! ANYWAY!! I had it bad for Paul...I would sit up in the tree in my back yard and fantasize that Paul was coming, all the way from his castle in England, to sweep me away and take me home with him. Did it matter that he was in his 40's and I was 8...Hell No!! He was hot!!
So there I was sitting, on one of the few nights I have to lay around and do absolutely nothing, and as I clicked channels this face appeared on my screen. Obviously, I found the guy on the screen adorable but he was doing this little mini interview and I dont know if it was his goofy laugh or the snarky comments that I found more attractive. All I know is from that day, I have been hooked.
I have watched Top Chef because I went to chef school and worked as a Garde Manger chef for many years but to be honest, if I didnt get a shot of Chris on every show I would find something better to do with me time. He is absolutely ADORABLE!!
CJ is 31 years old( so who cares that I am 6 years older!!) and he is a whopping 6 ft 8 inches tall. I know dreamy right?? What I love about him is his personality. He is very dry and sarcastic and seems to be very matter of fact with everything. He has a way of presenting himself that shows me that he has alot of self confidance in his skills as a chef.
What I want to know is where was he when I was in chef school??LOL... I never worked with any hot, young sous chefs. All the chefs I worked with had big rolly polly tummies and were teetering between insanity and alcoholism. Man, did I get shanked!! LOL
ANYWAY!!
I am actually in a place today where I can no longer make fun of all those women who sit in their living room once a week and swoon over their favorite TV character. I can no longer make fun of women who sit all starry eyed on their lunch breaks because they are fantasizing some perfect scenario where they meet their dream guy. Sadly, I have become one of them. Now I understand why women sit around and drool over their own eye candy. I have become a part of the masses of middle aged women who find comfort in their fairytales of some young, hot guy who has everything they ever wanted. The greatest thing about it is I am completely OK with it!!!
So I guess I need to say thank you to my sweet, tall and absolutely adorable eye candy for making my summer a bit brighter and reminding me that there is nothing worng with feeling like you want to jump someone's bones!! ANWAY.......
Namaste~~
